Temporary Route Diversion Route 20
Hill Park Road, Thames Drive, and Red Barn Lane.

Wednesday 17th July until further notice.

Due to roadworks at the junction of Thames Drive, route 20 will be diverting via:
Highlands Road and Kiln Road in both directions.

Passengers are advised to use the alternative stops at either the Working Man’s Club on Highlands Road or St Francis on Funtley Hill.
This diversion will be in place until the works have been completed and safe access in and out of Thames Drive is restored.

Temporary Route Diversion routes: 3, X4 and X5
Quay Street and East Street, Fareham.

Monday 15th until Friday 19th July.

Due to road works in Quay Street, the above routes will divert via Western Way on departure form Fareham bus station, and will not be able to serve the stop at Bath Road.

Passengers are advised to use the alternative stop at Fareham Bus Station.

The following stop closures:-

Allaway Avenue shops Eastbound:- 18th July times 0930 to 1530
Beechwood Road Northbound:- 17th July times 0930 to 1530
Hilsea Crescent Northbound:- 17th July times 0930 to 1530
Isambard Brunel Road(Winston Churchill Avenue) Westbound:- 18th July times 0930 to 1530

These works are out of our control and may change at short notice.

Unicorn Road will be closed OVERNIGHT ONLY between 8 pm and 6 am on the 17th,18th,19th, 22nd,& 23rd July. Services 3, x4, 7 & 8 will divert away from this area as follows:- Services 3 & 7 towards the City will divert away from Lake Road via Holbrook Road, Arundel Street & Station Street - missing out Cornmill Street stop. Services 3, 7, 8 & X4 out of the City will use the bus stop in Commercial Road South outside CEX then divert via Station Street, Arundel Street and Holbrook Road and will serve Commercial Road North, then back on normal route.

The Annual food festival in Southsea will take place over the weekend of 19th - 22nd July. Palmerston Road will be closed to all traffic from noon on the 19th, right through to noon on the 22nd. Service 3 will divert via Portland Road, Osborne Road (Queens Hotel) Clarence Parade, South Parade & South Parade Pier, in both directions. Please use alternative stops at St Judes Church or Queens Hotel. The bus stops at South Parade Pier remain ope. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during this event.

Temporary Stop Closure: Clarendon Road, Abshot Road, Titchfield Common.Route X4.

Due to essential gas works, both the stops at Clarendon Road will be closed from:
0800 Tuesday 9th until 1600 Wednesday 17th July.

Passengers are advised to use the alternative stop provided by the works contractors

From Monday 1 July 2024, First Solent service 28/28A will no longer operate between Whiteley and Botley, with the service now terminating at North Whiteley, Skipper Way. There is no change to the route between Fareham and Whiteley. A new timetable will be introduced on the same day.

Temporary diversion of route 11.

Due to the closure of Mumby Road in Gosport, route 11 will divert via:
South Street, Creek Road, Stoke Road, and Spring Garden Lane.
This diversion will affect services in both directions.

Passengers are advised to use the alternative stops at either:
Gosport Bus Station or Sharon Court.

Temporary Stop Closures.
Castle Way, Southampton. Routes X4 and X5.
Both directions.
28th May until further notice.

Due to road works on Castle Way in Southampton, passengers are advised to use the stops outside West Quay for the duration of these works.

There is currently no end date for these works, please keep checking back for updates.
